Spice up Your Twitch Stream Title: A Guide to Adding Emoji/Icons for Maximum Impact!

Updated: Jun 22, 2025

As Twitch continues to grow in popularity, streamers are always looking for ways to make their channels stand out. One way to add a little extra flair to your stream is by adding emoji and icons to your stream title. These small graphics can help draw attention to your stream and make it more visually appealing. Here's how to add emoji/icons to your Twitch stream title.

Step 1: Find the emoji/icons you want to use

There are a few different ways to find the emoji/icons you want to use. You can use the emoji picker on your computer or phone, search for them online, or even create your own using design software. Once you've found the emoji/icons you want to use, save them to your computer.

Step 2: Open your Twitch dashboard

Log into your Twitch account and navigate to your dashboard. Click on the "Channel" tab.

Step 3: Edit your stream title

In the "Channel" tab, you'll see an option to edit your stream title. Click on the pencil icon to make changes to your title.

Step 4: Add the emoji/icons

To add an emoji/icon to your stream title, simply copy and paste it into the title field. You can also use keyboard shortcuts to add emoji/icons on some platforms. For example, on a Mac, you can press "Control + Command + Space" to open the emoji picker (for PC use the windows key + period (.)).

Step 5: Save your changes

Once you've added your emoji/icons, make sure to click the "Save Changes" button at the bottom of the screen.

Step 6: Check your stream title

Navigate to your Twitch channel to make sure the emoji/icons have been added to your stream title. If they're not showing up, double-check that you saved your changes.

Tips for using emoji/icons in your stream title:

  • Use emoji/icons sparingly. Too many can be distracting and make your title difficult to read.

  • Choose emoji/icons that fit with the theme of your stream.

  • Be creative! Consider using emoji/icons to create a clever pun or play on words in your title.

Adding emoji/icons to your Twitch stream title is a quick and easy way to make your channel stand out. Just make sure to use them in moderation and choose ones that fit with the theme of your stream. With a little creativity, you can make your stream title even more eye-catching and memorable.
